I am on a road trip 1000 miles away from home. I started hearing a rattling noise, like a card in bicycle spokes at the beginning of the trip. When we reached our destination the car has started vibrating for about a second when accelerating in low gear. The noise sounds like its coming from under the drivers seat. Any ideas? Do we need to get this fixed before heading home? Thanks for your help!

Hi:
Have it checked. I believe there is a bearing along the rear drive shaft and it could cause problems for you.

Let me know what you find.
