1996 Subaru Legacy Radiator? Valve?

My water temp on dash is above red level and when I stopped I saw smoke from hood. It came from the left side and when I opened the hood, everything was wet on the left side, no sweet smell.

if smoke was white than it was definitely coolant , you will have to find the source of the leak. could be water pump failure , hose failure etc...

thanks, found a crack in the radiator. was fixed from previous owner and broke again, just going to replace it.
