1996 Subaru Legacy Engein runs hot

Engine Performance problem
1996 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual 150xxx miles

My engein was running hot so I replaced the thermastate and drained the radiator and put in all new fluid. The fans are all working. whats wrong?

Did you make sure to remove the air bubble that always forms in these engines when the fluid is drained? There's a screw on the top of the radiator, on the passenger side, to vent the air out. I usually open that and fill the engine thru it even though it's a tiny hole.
