1994 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive 150000 miles
front plug on left bank is loose.
it was causing a tapping sound, today i finally popped the hood and checked the plugs.
i havent been able to remove that plug due to what seems like a lack of thread contact. its just spinning in the recess.
any suggestions on how to remove the plug, or info about what kind of extensive damage may have been caused and what type of repair i can expect would be helpfull.
also the gasket on the rear right plug seems like its on the threads of the plug to tightly. there is very little motion it will make with out using a lot of pressure and is stuck about half way down the threads. could this cause a problem when reinstalling the plug?
