I removed the front calipers to install new pads, now I have very little brakes, I understand it's not like regular brakes because of the hill holder system, how do I get my brakes working again on a Subaru Loyale

Did you disconnect the hydraulic hoses? If yes you need to bleed them, if not, pump till pedal is firm...

Answer to PM:Fill master, open bleeders, and let them drip, it's called gravity bleeding, allow drip until it's a steady stream...DO NOT let master to run dry! Use DOT3 brake fluid omly! Close bleeders, and pump!
