I had the power steering bracket replaced without removing the pump.
The mechanic brought the car back with the power steering making noises and getting stiff intermittently.
I immediatley popped the hood and inspected the tension on the belt.It was overtightened!
Could the tight belt have damaged the power steering pump and caused my symptoms?
I never had any problems before this mechanic worked on my car at his house!
