I recently had a Check Engine light come on, pulled the code and it was P0328. Ive read that it is knock sensor related. As soon as the check engine light came on I also noticed a faint smell of gasoline while driving and running the heater. Would this smell be tied to the knock sensor?
There has been no noticeable drop in gas mileage, the spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, valve cover gaskets, all were done less than 3000 miles ago. I regularly run a tube of Lucas Oil fuel system cleaner every 3 months.
I have heard it could be the fuel rails leaking or something along those lines, but I find it odd that this just started happening when the check engine light for the knock sensor.
Thank you!
