Is my oil pump going out? I have low oil pressure and sounds like my valves/lifters are sticking. (pinging noise which gets louder and more frequent with rpm)

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings-sludged-up crankcase
