Transmission problem
2004 Subaru Forester 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic
I drained the fluid, about 4.5 qts. Added back in 3.5qts. and the fluid was at the top of the filler neck.
Started the car and Idled in park . put on brake and shifted into drive , 1, 2 and then reverse. back into park and checked the level and it was the same, all the way to the top of the filler neck. sucked out 2 qts. and it still shows high on the dip stick. I know its low but the dip stick says differnet. and it wont drive worth a crap. Did I scew it all up? what did I do wrong? how can I correct the problem.
