2004 Subaru Forester All Wheel Drive Automatic 130,00 miles

what would cause a high pitch sound from the car when it's running and for about 45 minutes after it's turned off?

Hi there,

This will have to be heard before a diagnosis can be made, so would get a mechanic to have a listen and advise after he has heard this noise.
