When the car is started up first thing in the morning or has sat all day it runs perfect. Just as the engine temp has reached its normal position and when the brakes are applied to slow the car down under 5 mph to stop, the torque converter will not disengage and wants to push the car through the stop. It will kill the engine but if you put the tranmission in neutral the engine will run fine, wait for 1 min. and put it back into gear and it will stay running with the torque converter disengaged. This only happens a few times and then it will run fine. The transmission fluid has been changed by a Subaru dealer, the emc has been reprogramed by a dealer.
Thank you.
Thank you.
