So shifter is stuck in Park and Fuse #11 keeps blowing. I unplugged REM and replaced both Brake switches (pedal sensor and dreaded pressure switch on bottom of Master Cylinder), problem continues. I tested both new switches and operating as expected. So I strayed back tracing pedal wires (g/r, r/g) up behind dash to fuse box, g/r, tests good to fuse box, r/g I'm not sure where it goes so can't say for sure but at night when this began I was pulling wrapped wires down and a second set of wires, (see pic, white connector, r, w, b, g, b) same sheath came down and after hours I cannot figure where it is supposed to connect? I suspect it is related to this no shift out lf Park issue.
I should note I can turn the key to acc, shift to neutral, and then it starts just fine and can shift to drive etc., but if to Park stays there.
Sorry so long but quite possibly also related: when I was taking dash apart the part circled in red from 2nd Pic broke off from around ignition lock cylinder.
