I have read all the previous posts. I have changed the 4X4 module and the transfer case shift motor. The car remains in 4X4 high. Please give any suggestions with diagrams.

Can you please remove the shift motor and leave the wires connected? Then turn the key on and work the control to see if the shift motor works/moves? This way we can tell if the problem is internal to the transfer case or electrical. Also, can you check the fuse # 17, 8, 15, 18 and 25 in the under-hood fuse panel and fuse# 24 and 12 in the interior fuse panel on the left side of the dash. Here is a guide to help and the fuse locations I also have included the wiring diagrams for the transfer case so you can see how the system works.

I already checked that the selection buttons operate the motor. I have also replaced the selector button assembly. Last resort looks like the brown wire hack.

I don't understand brown wire hack. Is the brown wire damaged? I would remove the actuator and see if you can move the transfer case internal control arm manually you could have something broken inside of the transfer case not allowing the actuator motor to move, please upload s short video of your results so I can see what's going on.
