When I put car in drive, it run as if it is in first gear. Fine in park and reverse.

Hello,
It sounds like the turbine speed sensor is not working but to be sure lets run the codes to see what comes up.

Please run down this guide and report back, you can get a code reader for about $20.00 at Amazon. Here is the location of the sensor.
Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
