Strange Connector

This is the backside of the fuse/relay center beneath the hood. The bulky gray plastic two wire connector at the bottom that has the two orange wires connecting fifty amp Maxi-fuses to the top and middle row sets of twenty amp fuses, does that belong there or is it doubling up on twelve volt current? Should it be removed? I have never seen or heard of its presence in any troubleshooting or schematics. I had to flip the box to snap the picture so the layout is inverted. When I connect the battery the guage cluster and interioir lights are on, full time, key on off position. But when I pull the horn fuse and only the horn fuse the parasitic drain drops from seven amps to .7amps. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Well,

If this is OEM wiring, I'd leave it alone!

I'm sure it's not doubling up on the volts!

I found a HORN diagram in "Prodemand" for a GMC K1500

(If that's wrong, lemme know, I'll look again)

I'm not seeing anything that could 'draw' (My Deductions) without the Horn blowing!

The relay is the only thing that could be an issue (I'm not an auto electrician) Computerized vehicles are not my cup of tea! I like to deal with carburetor vehicles!

I do research things pretty well though!

Seems the computers have taken over every vehicle component in some way.

Thoughts!

I am more than happy to look for SPECIFIC diagrams for your vehicle (the whole nine yards would take me weeks!). Should you need more, please verify your vehicle info, type fuel, sub-model, anything that will aid me. Prodemand prompts all info from me to get to the right diagrams.

One other thing!

Might some add-on accessory be tied onto the wiring?

Thanks so much for getting back. So I dont know if its OEM, I dont think so tho. Im going to run the wires back from the relay to make sure they follow that diagram and thank you very much for that. I did notice something possibly could cause short. I asked as a separate question on here but I haven't gotten a response yet. In that same pic I can't get a clear answer. "Are the gray (86) and black/white (30) wires switched on the fuel pump relay circuit? Ive been trying to find this out everywhere! So, to clarify, the gray wire needs to be in the 30 position, right? Essentially moving the black/white wire to the 86 position? Or are they oriented correctly?" If they are switched then thwy would shorting the circuit I think.
Dude, my next move is to tear all this shit out and get me an Edelbrock 1405 and performer rpm intake and laugh about it all while I burn the Throttle body. Never had a problem with that carburetor on my Stingray.
