The screen on the stereo says wait

I have disconnected the stereo and had the ignition on for over 2 hours but still says wait. What can I do to get it off the screen so can use the stereo again?

Hello,

It sounds like the radio is locked in security mode, does it say anything else like enter code? Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on, that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. Please let us know.

I would call the dealer and ask why it says wait. we don't have info on that particular problem on this car but would like to know what the problem is.
