Cannot find specialty tool to remove the two screws on the factory installed double din stereo. They have three slots on the outside of each head of the screw.

Can you post a picture? I have not seen them use any special hardware before. The description sounds like a T-Groove.

I had a heck of a time getting this photo. :) Thank you for your interest. Have you ever seen one of these before? And how do I get them out and can I replace them with other screws? Thanks.

Yep, it is a T-Groove screw. Not used by Chrysler. You can replace them with the correct screws. I would just use a pair of needle nose vice grips and get them out. Buying the special socket to remove two screws would be expensive.

Thank you Steve. I tried needle nose, but not a real earnest try. Did not want to damage them in case I needed them. Now I will go beat the heck out of them. :) Thanks again. Much appreciated. :)

If you have a Dremel type tool you could cut a slot or flats on them.
