Steering wheel limits

When steering to the right (the steering wheel) reaches until the end point and stops rotating, but when steering it to the left it reaches to same exact point on the other side then it allow me to to do more rotation and If I did I hear clunking noise when returning it back to the limit area.

Can you get a recording of this? Sounds like what you are saying is when turning to the left you are not reaching the steering stop?

If this is the case, more then likely the clock spring is broken. However, this could be some other issues so we need to get a video just to clarify the issue so we are going after the right thing.
