I don't know if this is just a coincidence but right after having new struts and lowering springs installed (within a week) I started having difficulty steering to the left. Sometimes it acts just fine and sometimes it's near impossible to make a left turn without using both arms and fighting it, and sometimes midway through the turn it will suddenly let up and turn real quickly. It never does it to the right, only to the left, and it's not a constant. RPM's seem to have little to do with it (eg: if you gun it there's no guarantee it will turn any better...you'll just be looking at hitting something that much quicker....ha). It seems more difficult to count on it turning at slower speeds (like in a parking situation). It seems to steer more easily while backing up as compared to moving forward at the same speed. A time or two it has shown to be hard to steer left even at highway speed but not often. There is no growling or abnormal noises in the ps pump, and no leaks underneath...... I'm scratching my head on this one. Would the ps filter on this car have the capacity to cause these syptoms? Or does it just need a complete new rack & pinion?

Much gratitude if you can figure this one out....
