steering column replacement/swap

someone tried to steal my truck, which is listed above Scottsdale model. Jacked up the steering column. I have access to a 1994 suburban which has a steering column which looks pretty similar to the one in my 1985, can I swap them out without to much fan fair?

You will need to look at both especially the electrical connectors to make sure they match. here are instructions in the diagrams below to help with the repair. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
