Hi, recently i made my power steering as there were oil leak from oil seals. after fixing the oil seal and all there is some hardness in steering .The mechanic said that due to installing new oil seal kit of power steering system there will be hardness for a while after driving 300 to 400 km it will automatically get adjust and smooth. is that true?

Hi,

This is possible but it would definitely depend on which seals you are referring to.

I attached the exploded views of the pump and rack and pinion. Do you see the seal that you replaced? Best thing would be to tell me which attachment (1,2,3) and the name of the part. Let me know and I will let you know what I think. Thanks
