Starting problem

Car hard to start when cooled off, clicks and after next try hesitates/drags but starts. Changed battery, sensor, and checked starter and alternator and they are all fine.

Good morning.

Does it sounds like a low battery?

Can you tell me the voltage os the battery in the morning before you start it? It may have a draw draining the battery overnight.

Also, the voltage at the battery with the engine running?

Bought a brand new battery; voltage drops to 14.4 and goes back to 14.7.

14.7 when?

I need the voltage cold with the key off and then with it running.

I assume 14.7 is running which is a little high. Does that make sense?

14.4 when cold and 14.7 when running.

14.4 volts when not running is no good.

It should be 12.6 volts. If you have 14.4 volts the battery is sulfated or shorted.

Good morning, so I checked it again yesterday after sitting all day and the voltage was 10.5 and dropped to 10.1 as I watched before cranking. Also, when it finally cranks, the hazard lights come on?

OK, thats no good. thats why the 4 ways are flashing. low voltage

you need to test for a parasitic draw. remove the negative cable and put your voltmeter in line with the battery and negative cable. set the meter to dc amps. let it sit for 30 minutes to let the modules go to sleep. then see what the draw is in amps. it should be 50-75 milli amps.
