Okay, I have the car listed above touring model. When I replace the starter about a week ago it started up just fine well the next day it won't start again. so I replaced all the relays, the battery made sure all the connections were good and it won't start, it goes to engage the starter for a split second and then as soon as as soon as the starter engages it doesn't get it cuts out goes nothing kind of like a click but not a click. I disconnected the battery last night let it sit overnight come out this morning and it started right up but then I shut it off and it started doing the same thing it would engage the starter for like a split second and that's all it'll do.

Hi,

This vehicle has a totally integrated power module (TIPM). They are known to have issues with the pins in the connector corroding, breaking, or losing connection for some reason.

If you look at pics 1 and 2 below, I include the starting system wiring schematic. I had to cut it in half, but I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

In pic 1, I highlighted a fuse to check and a wire to check. The yellow wire out from the starter relay should have power when the key is in the start position. What I think is happening is this. When a load is placed on the circuit, the connection is being lost. So, I need you to check if there is power for a second which is then lost.

You can do this right at the starter motor, but you will need a helper. Basically, you are checking to see if there is 12v to the starter motor when the key is in the start position. Note: The larger wire will always have 12v right from the battery. The smaller one which is attached to the S-terminal will only have it when the key is in the start position.

Pic 3 shows the location of the start fuse in the underhood fuse box.

Also, starting at pic 4, I included all the diagnostics for a no-crank condition. It is extensive, but we may need to go that route to determine the issue.
