My car will not start, but I go out to the car an hour or so later and it starts. What would cause this?

Hi LDLAWRENCE,
When engine does not start, were you able to crank the engine without starting or there was no response from the starter?
If it is no response from the starter, meaning the engine does not crank, then it is something to do with the starting circuit which involves the starter motor, ignition switch, starter relay, wiring and even could be the battery itself.
Basic diagnostics has to be performed to determine the cause.
Has this ever occurred before?
