Starter/solenoid wiring?

It is possible that it was wired incorrectly but that would most likely not cause the single click and grinding at times.

I will attach the info on how to replace the starter as well from the manual, but I am also attaching the wiring diagram below.

I suspect you have another faulty starter, or you don't have enough voltage getting to the starter to get it to turn over.

Basically, we need to check the voltage and find out what is there at the starter.

It was wired correctly. I double checked the terminals, battery and relays. It started to crank twice after that then stopped clicking entirely. I decided to take it out and noticed the aluminum casing around the starter motor had a large crack from the mounting along the side. I took it back to exchange now I’m waiting another two days for the new one. Hopefully, I have better luck with this one. I don't know what I could of caused the crack, I didn’t excessively tighten anything or over work it.

Wow. Great find. That is great info. More than likely someone dropped it. We won't know for sure, but the fact that you found it is a clear it needed to be replaced.
