When I start up the car the first time everything is fine. But when I start it up the second or third time that day it needs a little throttle or it seems to be flooded. As is my fault I put some cheaper injectors in it nearly a year ago. Now I'm thinking that one of them is stuck open causing it to flood the cylinder. I've check out all other options or so it seems. My question is, is there a way to find out if one of the injectors is stuck open or closed? Can this be resolved by cleaning or tapping?

Hi,

If you have an injector leaking, often times you will see black smoke from the exhaust indicating a rich fuel mixture.

What you can do is check fuel pressure drop off. Once the system is pressurized, see how long it takes for the pressure to drop. If there is a leak, it will drop fast.

Here is a link that explains how, in general, to test fuel pressure:

Here is a link for testing injectors:

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
