Stalling issue, throttle hesitation and throttle plate sticks

Okay, I have cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the MAF, changed the air filter, changed the spark plugs (still waiting on wires), changed TPS, and changed ignition coil. this car still has trouble stalling. I must be getting somewhere because it's better but at the moment i've had to turn the idle up quite high to keep it from stalling when the lights are on. There is also still hesitation from the throttle and the throttle plate sticks when the car sits for awhile. Any help would be great.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Have you tested the fuel pressure? It's possible you might have a week or failing fuel pump causing the poor performance and stalling. If you don't have access to a fuel pressure tester most auto parts store have a tool loaner program and can rent you one. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:

Thanks for the reply. I'll definitely do some fuel checks. Do you have an idea as to why my throttle plate sticks when the car sits for awhile? Is there a throttle stop i can adjust or something?

Hello again.

There is no adjustment for the throttle plate. What usually causes sticking is a build up of carbon and junk on both sides of the plate. You can use a good chemical cleaner to free up the carbon. Get back to us after the fuel pressure test and we'll go from there. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
