Engine stalling

Engine keeps stalling unless chock is permanently out.

If the choke has to be out, chances are you have a major vacuum leak causing too much air to enter the combustion chamber. I have to be honest, in the US, this vehicle is not available, so my information is very limited. However, I want you to check for an engine vacuum leak. Here are directions as to how that is done:

Think about it. With the choke on, you are limiting the amount of air that can enter the engine. If there is a vacuum leak, closing the choke compensates for the extra air entering the engine.

Check that and let me know what you find.
