Squealing,chirping noise

Okay, so it makes this continuous squealing or whistling sound in park and drive. I think it's coming from somewhere in the front, from the middle of the dash towards the passenger tire somewhere. it does sound better in neutral (not as loud) but when I shift into reverse it gives off one loud squeak or chirp. also the constant whistling fades out when I accelerate but comes back when I slow down. I don't know if it helps but when I rev it up in neutral it sounds normal.

Let's start with removing the serpentine belt and start the engine to see if this noise is still there. The belt is the most likely cause of this so if we remove it and the noise is gone then we know it is the belt or a pulley which we can narrow it down from there.

I had someone looking under the hood while I shifted it back and forth from park to reverse and he said he could see the engine move or kick every time I shifted. He thinks it's the drive shaft. what do you think?

This would not be the drive shaft because the drive shaft is not used until the proper conditions are met. Meaning you have a front wheel drive vehicle until it engages the rear making it an all wheel drive vehicle.

Can you get a recording of this from under the hood? Maybe we have an issue with the motor mounts. Just not sure this would cause a noise but it would allow the motor to rock when shifting gears.

There seems to be a mount or bracket that the drive shaft goes through that's loose allowing the shaft to move up and down.
