Squealing noise

When I press the clutch pedal, I hear a pearcing squeal from under the hood. Just started to happen today 5/28/2018.

That sounds like a failed throw out bearing. To replace it you will need to remove the transmission to get to it. They are "lubed for life" but how long of a life they do not say. When the lube fails or one of the balls inside the bearing starts to fail you get metal on metal contact and the squeal.
This would be a great time to replace the clutch assembly as well, unless it was very recently replaced. If this is a two wheel drive vehicle it is not real difficult if you can get the vehicle up in the air on stands or a lift. It can be done in a garage/lawn/driveway while laying on your back and lifting the transmission overhead but that is more difficult.
