Hello, I can hear some squeaking sounds coming from front of my vehicle. happens only on slower speed and when i touch brakes slightly, sound disappears.
When I'm driving high speed, there's also no squeaking then.
What could it be?

Hi,

If you hear it at a slow speed and it stops when you use the brakes, it sounds like the brake pad wear indicator is touching the brake rotor. It is simply a small piece of metal that is designed to touch the rotor when the brake pads are worn to a certain point. This is to indicate brakes needing replacement and to help prevent damage to the brake rotors.

If you look at pic 1 below, I circled the "screamer" sensor that I believe you are hearing.

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I don't have the specifics on it. However, here is a link that shows in general how to replace front brake pads and rotors. Although there are some differences between vehicles, they all primarily work the same.

Follow this link and it should help:

Also, here is a video showing the pads and rotors being replaced. Again, although it is a different brand of vehicle, the procedures are very similar.

Let me know if this helps or if I can help in any way.

Take care,

Joe
