Drove my SUV 1,000 miles and not one problem. Now I'm driving it 1,000 miles again and as soon as I start my journey my car starts to make this sputtering sound. I stop and I had no oil! I didn't bother checking because I just had an oil change the day before I first started my journey. Thought I fixed the problem with adding oil but it didn't. Anyone knows what could it be?

Good afternoon,

We have nothing to go on to help you.

Does the oil light come on while driving?

Is it knocking?

Can you be more specific about the issue?

Can you upload a video for us to her?

Not one light is on. It seems to knock once every so often, but it is sputtering more than anything. I uploaded a video where you can hear the sputter. Thank you for responding.

Thank you.

That is an engine knock. That most likely happened from the lack of oil.

I would find out where the oil went especially if you just had it changed. Take it back to the shop and have them find out why there was no oil in it. It sounds like they may have made an error that has damaged your engine.
