I replaced the right rear door on my car. The used replacement door wires for window and lock controls don't match the ones coming out of the body.
I checked on line for the colors of the wires so I can splice them but the colors and sizes on the replacement door are different from the ones coming from the chassis and the ones shown online are different, too.
From chassis I have 12ga. yellow w/blk stripe; 12ga red w/blk; 12ga red w/bl; 14ga pink w/or; 14ga. pink w/blk; 18ga blk plain; 18ga blk w/ tan stripe.
From the door: 16 ga yellow w/blk; 16ga red w/bl; 14ga pink w/or ; 14ga red w/blk; 14ga pink w/blk; 18ga blk w/tan stripe; 18ga plain black.
Some of these may be wrong. I could not be sure of some colors or sizes.
I need help to connect the right door wires to those coming out of the chassis. 2 or 3 are obvious, of course. Thanks.

I don't know the year of the door but it fits perfectly and is the exact same white as my car so I do not have to paint it. But, it is from a police car. That may be the problem. It is probably set up to not allow rear seat occupants to open the door or window. My car is a private model of the same body style: 2003 Crown Vic small v-8 base model.

Hello,

If I may jump in here, Okay from the wiring diagrams that I have included in the diagrams down below, this is the best I can figure it here. Okay 1== Yellow/Black Wire) Master Window Adjust Switch(Pin #4) to Right Rear Window Adjust Switch(Pin #5) 2==Red/Black Wire) Master Window Adjust Switch(Pin #3) to Right Rear Window Adjust Switch(Pin #3) 3==Red/Light Blue Wire) Right Rear Power Window Adjust Switch(Pin #4) to Left Rear Window Adjust Switch(Pin #4) 4==Pink/Orange Wire)
Right Rear Door Lock Actuator(Pin #1) to Driver Door Module(Pin #3) 5==Pink/Black Wire) Right Rear Door Lock Actuator(Pin #2) to Driver Door Module(Pin #8) 6==Black Wire)
Master Window Adjust Switch(Pin #5) to Ground #200 7==Black/tan which is actually Black/White Wire) Circuit Breaker 602(Battery Junction Box) to Passenger Side Door Lock Switch(Pin #4). Please go through these and see if they match up. These are all the major components that I can see. Please get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex

Gosh, Alex. Thanks a bunch. You went to a lot of work to put all that in an answer. I'm not real good with electric but you make it pretty clear. I'll start on it and we'll see where I get to. I'll get back to you with results
(and probably some more questions)
