spilled coffee on console

Are you trying to remove the console to access the center console switch group? If so, take a look at the attached two pics and let me know if they help.

Please note that I don't list a 230 TE. The C 230 K. That is what these directions are for. If that isn't correct, let me know.

Thank you for your prompt reply. It's a C230 Kompressor, 2000. The instructions are about the same. I've got the circuit board and switches out.
Question 1 - To access the circuit board to clean with coffee off with rubbing alcohol, do I remove the 14 screws in the picture I sent? That's the only way I see to access the circuit board. My piece is different than what I've seen on two other videos I've watched. Their circuit boards seemed more exposed and could be reached by removing only 4 screws/not 14.

Question 2 - To access the 14 screws I removed that piece in the third picture and broke the two clips that hold it in place when you put it back in the console. I'm not sure how important that piece/bracket is???

Hi Brenda,

Did you attach pictures? If so, they didn't upload. As far as cleaning a circuit board, be careful. They can damage easily.

Thank you for your help. I found the circuit board with the switches at an auto wrecker, it's all fixed.
