How do you remove caps from new Spicer non greaseable u joints?

SPL55-3x. Manually twisting and pulling does not work. I do not want to damage it and unfortunately Spicer does not provide procedure online.

It looks like a common U-joint that the caps just pull off of. Don't see any retainers or clips. It's likely that the seals and grease are holding it together so it acts stuck.
