Why does the speedometer head make a squealing noise while driving?

This happens when the cluster needs to be replaced or the speedo cable needs some oil (transmission fluid works best). Here are diagrams to help you do the job, you maybe able to remove the cluster and disable it to oil the speedo head, that might work. Check out the diagrams (below).
