Speedometer not working

Checked all the fuses, but speedometer will not work. No codes either. could it be the panel or the speed sensor?

My first guess would be the speed sensor. It is not an expensive part, so I would start there. Also, make sure the wiring to it is clean, not corroded, and in good condition with no damage to the wiring or connector.
