I have a 2006 Land Rover Sport. My ABS light has come on. The speedometer does not work. Nor does the mileage reader. This is how the car has been since I bought it about a week ago. I ran codes and it threw the code C0013. I looked this code up and it said that my left-front speed sensor had a fault. I was wondering if I should just buy that one sensor, buy both front sensors, or buy all four sensors for the front and the back.

As well as I have a question about my display screen. It is not working at all. The two buttons on the bottom still light up so I am not sure what is going on with it. It is solid black and doesn’t light up in the slightest. Before I bought the Land Rover they replaced the radio. The radio is now touchscreen and less buttons than the normal ones I have looked up for my Rover. Could it possibly be because they didn’t hook it all the way back up when they put the new radio in? If not what else could my problem be with that?

I just replaces my brake sensor on my drivers front as well. I don’t know if you need to know that too. The wire for that was completely split in half. It looked like the wire popped out of the clip and it got grabbed by the tire. The speed sensor does not appear to be ripped or anything like that. Just a bit old but nothing that should make the ABS light come on or the code being thrown.

Yes, I would replace the felt front wheel speed sensor which should fix it. Here is how to replace the wheel speed sensor in the images below, you will need to clear the codes once completed.

Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
