Good morning,

Was this a self tapping or a straight bolt in replacement?

Did you use any thread sealer when you installed it?

Okay, thanks.

Then it should come out with the same effort from installing.

Did you install it? Was there any issue installing it?

It will not.

The plug should come out then the adapter can be removed. You need a socket that fits the adapter to remove it.

I did try that but there is no socket bigger than a 5/8 that will fit down the port.It was suggested by a rookie that I try putting a strong epoxy to the end of an old spark plug and try inserting it.I wanted your input first.

Can you post me some pictures of what you see?

Why did you use the adapter and why are you removing it?

I was getting oil on my plugs from the valve cover gaskets leaking ,causing them to misfire,so I temporarily installed adapter to compensate for the misfire until I could change the valve cover gaskets. Now that I have changed gaskets,I wanted to remove the adapter,as I have new plugs and new valve cover gaskets.I will send pics as soon as I get to the car.

You could try using a thread sealer on the spark plug to the adapter and let it sit for a few hours and see if it will come loose.
