Smoke from my tailpipe

What color smoke did it come out?
Was it blue or black or white?

You will get blue smoke if the engine burn oil, black smoke due to issue with fuel and white smoke due to coolant in the oil.

First thing would be to add oil to the appropriate mark on the dipstick.
Also check to see if there is any leak. Maybe oil stain on under the vehicle?

You can be low on engine oil due to a leak or if the engine burns oil due to an internal issue.

First of all thank you for the quick reply.
Secondly, i think it was white maybe a bit greyish. I immediately turned my engine off and didn’t turn it back on.
As for the oil leaks, there’s nothing visible inside the car and no stains under it.
What do you recommend I should do? Add some oil and get it to the nearest car repair shop?

Yes first add oil.
As for the smoke, did it clear out after a little bit? or you shut it off as soon as you saw the smoke?

What is the color of your oil?
Did you have any other issues before this?

I shut it off after seeing the smoke, was afraid i might damage anything further by keeping the engine running.

That’s the color of the oil and where it’s at. No previous problem whatsover before that.

It just appears to have just little dirty oil and just a little low.

Typically is you will get white smoke if there is a leaking gasket like the intake manifold gasket or head gasket.

Check for any type of leak in the engine bay or on the ground. Check around the intake manifold where it connects to the cylinder head.
If you are not comfortable then it will be best to take it to a repair shop for evaluation.

As far as I can see there’s nothing there, but since i’m not well versed in checking for those kind of the leaks it’ll be better if I take it to a repair shop for better evaluation.
I’ll do as you suggested and add some oil then take it for a check up.

When you do take it to the shop be sure to keep an eye on all the gauges specially the temperature gauge.
