Smoke coming out of exhaust when turning left or starting car

Car is burning through lots of oil. There are no pools of oil on the ground. Starting the car after its been sitting for a bit creates a large plume of blueish smoke out of the tailpipe. Accelerating through a left turn creates an enormous cloud of smoke that continues coming out of the exhaust five seconds after the turn is done. Right turns seem to do nothing. Occasionally moderate accelerating such as merging on a highway will create some smoke but not nearly as much as.

As suggested by a couple people I changed the pcv valve but it did not fix the issue.

This sounds like lots of wear/ broken rings/ or maybe even a broken piston.

If you want to try to pin it down to a certain cylinder, pull the spark plugs and look for the one(s) caked in oil at the electrode.

In any case, this is probably not a quick easy fix. (sorry)

After my initial research that was the other possibility I was leaning towards, just felt it was kind of strange it only really happened a lot when turning left and starting. I will pull the spark plugs and see if one or more is caked in oil.

Blowing blue smoke on start up is often bad valve stem seals, oil leaks down over night and pools on the valve heads, and burns off during cold start up, there is often not enough oil leakage to notice during normal hot running conditions, you can do a leak down or a wet and dry compression test to see how the rings are preforming as well.
