smell gas after turn off the engine

I turn engine on every day about 5-8 minutes, I did drive this car much lately, I keep doing that everyday and no smelling gas.

But recently I can smell gas after I turn off the engine.
What causing problem and what to do?

Can you tell approximately where the smell is coming from? Does it seem to be coming from under the hood or under the vehicle? Have you checked for any evidence of leaks?

If the car is sitting a lot, the fuel lines can rust and leak. Also, if you are not driving it, it may be loading up with fuel and need driven.

Regardless, any fuel leak is a concern and needs addressed. Let me know if you can tell approximately where the smell is coming from. If you notice it in the vehicle, there is a good chance it is coming from under the hood so check.
