I have a 2003 Cadillac Deville Base sedan. I recently had the codes p0101 and p0410. I replaced MAF sensor with a brand new GM one and just replaced secondary air pump with brand new GM part. Right now I have no codes but am having the same problems. My spark plugs are fine, air filters fine, shifts good. For my acceleration problem, my acceleration is kind of sluggish I feel. It will take rpms a little bit to get up but then all of a sudden it'll kick in and hesitate a little, like a little few jerks. But the acceleration still isn't thaf fast. I wouldn't think it would be a clogged cat although it takes awhile to get my rpms up. I've only gotten rpms up to 5700 around tbere. I can go 100 mph although took a long time to reach tbere also. I'm starting to think it's something fuel related. Not the gas exactly, I put ethonal free in. Also my fuel guage will Bounce around when fuel gets low. Like it'll say I have a full tank when it gets really low. And sometimes when start up my car, my average mph will go down a few miles per gallon. For instance, it'll be at 22.0 average miles per gallon, then the next time I turn my car on, it will go down to say 19.5 and then I look at my gallons of gas used and it will go up like a gallon or so. So i don't know what's going on there. For the jerking problem, this only happens on the highway. When I'm going over 60 mph. What happens is ill be driving fine then all of a sudden there's a little hesitation like it loses power for a split second, it drops like 50-100 rpms and then goes back up to normal. Then that will keep happening the whole trip. It never does this in town. It drives excellent in town. So pleas help me, give me a list of things it could closely be related too.
