I don't know if my vehicle has transmission slippage. Every now and then when I rev up the car, RPMs go up but the car doesn't go anywhere until about 5 seconds later. It delays. Like I said before, there are days that pass and this doesn't happen. So I don't know what it could be.

Good morning,

I would start by checking the level to be sure there is enough fluid.

I would also suggest changing the fluid and filter. If the filter is partially clogged, it will do this.

I did check the levels and they are correct. Now, you don't recommend a flush.
If I change the filter, should I change the gasket?
So even though this doesn't happen all the time, it's still considered a slippage?
How about the Lucas Stop Skip fluid? Should I use that?

No, do not do a flush, just a fluid exchange. The flushing agent damages the clutches.

Yes, always change a gasket. Never reuse an old gasket.

No additives, They have no effect on the issue.
