Sliding door wiring harness?

I am trying to repair the wiring harnesses to the automatic sliding doors, but I can't figure out what size wire to use. Almost all the wires are broken in more than one place in both the right and left side sliding door wiring harness. Can you please help me figure out the proper kind and size wire to use?

This will depend on which wires are being replaced for example, if it is a sensor wire it will be smaller say 18 gauge where are a motor wire might be 12 gauge. If you take a sample to the electronics supply or hardware store you can match the wire size up. Here are the sliding door wiring diagrams.
