Slave cylinder pin lost

Hi, I have a question about a 95 Honda passport. I replaced the clutch slave cylinder but did not align the pin properly. The pin came off and I was unable to fish it out of where the slave cylinder attached to the transmission. Is there enough room for the slave pin to get into the flywheel? I don't have funds to drop the tranny to get it out. What would happen if I left it wherever it is. If left in would it eventually grind away? How dangerous/stupid would this be? :) I assume I could blow the clutch but I'm desperate...

the pin cold make like a bullet and go through the trans or bellhousing. it might bang up the pressure plate but not really sure. you can get a flexible magnet at auto parts and see if you can fish it out that way or take your chances. if you are lucky there may be an access cover at bottom front of trans to put a magnet there as well

Thanks! Managed to pry the aluminum cover on the front of the transmission just enough to pull it out. I appreciate it! Was not looking forward to ruining my clutch or learning how to drop a transmission. Many thanks.
