When accelerating my engine has a skip

Injectors have to be chemically pressure cleaned and even then, they do not always come clean. Many shops have system that will have the engine run on a chemical out of a container. They can also be removed and sent out. Most of the time you are better off just isolating the bad one and replacing it.

You could even have a ignition issue. I would say that is probably more likely. Have you checked for codes in the computer yet?
