Shifting up and applying gas problem !!!!!!!!

while i am depressing the clutch and applying gas when changing gear, i feel a click/clunk within the pedal.

if i change gear and completely depress the clutch THEN apply gas once it is fully depressed, there is no problem...

it seems to be an issue when i am applying gas as i am depressing the clutch..
