My gear shifter go to any gear real easy, but does not lock into any gear but park and I can get it in any gear to move just sits there.

Hello,
It sounds like you have a shift cable that has broken. Here is a guide that will help you get the problem fixed. You will need to jack the car up most likely.

Also check to make sure the cable end is plugged onto the transmission becasue sometimes they can pop off.
