Where is the transmission shift solenoid located and can it be replaced without opening the transmission?

Shift solenoids weren't used in these years. The only one you may be thinking of is the torque converter clutch solenoid. I attached a checks for you to review. Let me know if it helps. Also, please list what the symptoms are you are having so I know better how to help.
